Norwegian and Swedish language are very close – here is RennyBA’s Terella contribution to BlogSphere’s Wordless Wednesday:

—————————

Both pictures are taken in Sweden, but luckily the Norwegians would understand the sign – how about you?

hehehehehe – great great
You gave us a heavenly laughter just before hitting our pillows.
Thanks for sharing
Wonderful fun! :) :)
I love language and words (even on a Wordless Wednesday) and I’m always intrigued about how they are linked. Well, evidently the Swedish words in this case aren’t linked to the English. But they look a bit like the German fahren.
The first time I drove through Germany I was convinced that Ausfahrt was the biggest town in Germany. Every exit pointed to it.
Seems to be a lot about gas. Bwahahahahahaha. Okay that’s just plain funny.
Have a terrific day. Big hug to you and Diane. :)
Great pictures. Reminds of the Chinese restaurant in Malaysia called Fat Fat Fat
Great pictures. I know a little German and could guess a little I think as I drove around Norway and Sweden.
Hahahaha! I know what they are! They have something to do with driving and speed, somehow related to the German word “fahren” but the /h/ was lost in the orthography. I saw similar signs in Denmark, and they were still funny to me even though I know what they really mean. They had signs such as Fart Kontrol, you would just wonder what those Danish highways were capable of doing! You can see one here: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1135/1063663110_240a09a7e0.jpg
Thanks for the laugh. And for stopping by my blog.
